I connected the engineering to the business case.

Building one prototype and building a hundred are different problems. I worked the scale-up side: supplier and partner evaluation, procurement assumptions, and the cost and capacity logic a production plan needs to be believable. That work fed directly into the investor materials. I turned the platform into something investors could evaluate, the roadmap, the assumptions, the market and financial logic, connected to the company's USD 25 million Series A. I did not lead the fundraise. My sections were the technical roadmap and the engineering parts of the materials, the parts that had to hold up when engineers asked questions.

The program's public record helps tell this story: a NewGen IEDC SRM grant of 2,50,000 rupees in May 2019, first place in the Altair Startup Challenge 2020, and a T-Hub and MeitY Digital India Scale-Up Program case study. The skill I took away is the one I still use through Fusion Assist Ventures: honesty with a narrative, showing what is real, what is planned, and why the engineering justifies the numbers.
